Mobile Application

The mobile application, Global Health 1001, allows students and practitioners to study and have reference to key global health terminologies on-the-go. Using mobile devices, users can flip through flashcards and rate their level of understanding to track their study progress. Over 800 terms and phrases are organised by topics and delivered through bite-sized lessons, so that students can take small steps to achieve greater goals in their study and career.

In order to enhance the knowledge in global public health and disaster issues among Hong Kong secondary school teachers and students, the Collaborating Centre for Oxford University and CUHK for Disaster and Medical Humanitarian Response (CCOUC) has published the Global Public Health Learning and Teaching Series.

CCOUC organises training programmes, which are part of the Professional Development Programme (PDP) of Education Bureau, with the designated topics of the series.

In addition, teachers can order free printed and digital copies of booklets as reference or teaching materials.
