Presentation on COVID-19 at Asia Pacific Disaster Mental Health Network Meeting

CCOUC Director Prof Emily Chan delivered a presentation to members of the Asia Pacific Disaster Mental Health Network in the network’s meeting on 14 October 2020 via Zoom.

As a Co-chairperson of the World Health Organization COVID-19 Research Roadmap Social Science working group, Prof Chan’s presentation entitled “WHO COVID-19 Global Research & Development: Social Sciences” introduced to the network members the research priorities of WHO COVID-19 research in social science themes, including strengthening public health response, attention to the uneven impact of COVID-19 on different social groups, and methods, infrastructure and research capacity.

Members of the network have expressed great interest in joining the work of the WHO working group.
