CCOUC Participates in Beijing Symposium on Vector-Borne Diseases and Dengue Prevention

On 13 April 2026, Dr Chunlan Guo represented CCOUC at the “Symposium on Vector-Borne Diseases and Dengue Fever Control Strategies”, organized by GX Foundation in Beijing.

The symposium brought together public health specialists, institutional representatives and other stakeholders to discuss trends in vector-borne diseases and approaches to dengue prevention and control. GX Foundation introduced its “Consensus on Physical Control of Dengue Fever”, highlighting a package of physical prevention and health education measures.

During the event, CCOUC also shared its work with partners on dengue risk management along the China–Laos Railway. This collaboration applies a Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management (HEDRM) perspective to disease prevention in a cross-border transport corridor, linking operational experience with research and public health risk management.
